When to call

Call as soon as you’re unsure — timing matters.
If the deer may be dead or bedded nearby, don’t push it. Text me the basics and I’ll help you choose the best plan.
Best results come from a solid “last blood/last seen” point, enough wait time, and minimal disturbance.

What you observed (reaction, direction, blood type if known)
Wind direction (if you know it)
Any tracking already done (and whether the deer was bumped)

We go over last blood/last seen, terrain, and the best starting point.

Step 2 — Thermal scan
I fly a route tailored to the cover type and likely travel.

Step 3 — Confirm + pin
If we locate the deer, I drop a GPS pin and guide you in.

Step 4 — Next best move
If we don’t find it, I’ll explain what that likely means and what to check next.

HOW THERMAL DRONE RECOVERY WORKS:

A thermal drone detects an animal’s heat signature. From the air, I can quickly scan open fields, crop fields, timber, CRP, and thick cover—then focus the search on the most likely bedding areas and travel routes. See the image below from a recent recovery.
